Whole 30: best week yet

It is hard to believe in just a little over a week— whole 30 will be completed! Going into it, I had a lot of doubt that I wouldn’t be able to make it. However, with only a few exceptions, I can say I have been rather successful! One of my favorite parts of this process is getting back in the kitchen more often and creating tasty new recipes. I’ve been experimenting a lot with things I don’t normally eat and discovering new things I enjoy!

While I think everything we’ve made thus far has been delicious, if i do say so myself– this week in particular has been outstanding!!! (and our cheapest grocery list yet which doesn’t hurt ;)

**Again these recipes are for TWO people and 14 servings of each meal per week**

Here are the details—


Breakfast: Egg&Sausage Scramble// we did the same as usual–

  • 4 packages chicken sausage,
  • 3 packs hash browns
  • 18 eggs
  • 6 bell peppers
  • 2 onions



Lunch: Cauliflower Fried Rice// 

  • 2 packs of cauliflower rice ( I would use three)
  • 1 pound carrots
  • 3 stalks of celery
  • 2 packages of white mushrooms
  • 1 bunch of scallions
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 bottle coconut aminos (would use two next time)
  • 2 T ground ginger
  • salt&pepper
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper


Dinner: Spaghetti Squash Marinara//

  • 6 small spaghetti squashes
  • 2 packages of turkey bacon
  • 2 jars of marinara sauce
  • 2 T garlic powder
  • salt&pepper
