TRAVEL EATS (PT 2) : Lexington KY

Tis the season…..to take finals :/ Yes, it is that time again and yes, I am slowly dying inside ( thanks for asking ) Thought I’d change up my procrastination technique from binge watching Netflix and eating skinny pop to actually putting my energy into something productive, my blog! While I take a much needed study break, I thought I’d finish up my part two on my favorite places to eat here in Lexington.

Best of luck to anyone struggling to make it through finals on barely any sleep (me) We got this!!!!

North Lime Coffee & Donuts(575 N Limestone): I’m guessing you’re not in the least bit surprised that this place made my list. But hey, how can you turn down a delicious gluten free donut?! I know I can’t. This place has become my Friday morning routine and I’m not even mad about it. ^^ funnel cake & chocolate iced gluten free donuts

Osaka(3805 Dylan Place): This place is awesome! And while the sushi is great—what makes this place so awesome is the super friendly staff. Everyone there seems to genuinely love their job and will do whatever it takes to ensure your meal was nothing less than perfect! ^^ mango tuna roll, crab roll, avocado crab roll

OBC Kitchen(3373 Tates Creek Rd): Just went to this place last night with my parents and I will tell you, it does not disappoint! Super trendy, oversized bar with small plates and some entrees that are unique and inventive. A must go for the foodie in your life–PLUS the menu is on an iPad and there’s about a whole novel sized bourbon list for the Kentucky in you ;) ^^short rib tacos

Athenian Grill(313 S Ashland): Cute little restaurant that is located in a tiny house tucked away from the street. You’ll blink and miss it…and you definitely don’t want to! Homemade greek food that anyone can enjoy. ^^ lemon roasted potatoes and chicken w/ veggies and rice

AZUR(3070 Lakecrest Cir): This is one of those places you go with the parents when they are visiting out of town because there is no way in hell you can afford it on your own… (which is exactly what happened here, love ya mom and dad!) It is also important to note when going here, you MUST order the truffle fries. They will change your life. Lots of expensive foodie friendly choices for a nice night out! ^^sea bass: potato crusted, parmesan parsley whipped potatoes, lemon garlic shrimp scampi butter sauce, wilted spinach

**Hope you enjoy my list and be sure to let me know if you go/try any of these places, you wont regret it!

Happy Eating!!

xoxo
